About Me

Sew Needlejuice is the cross stitch creation of Helen Bretherton, Halifax, West Yorkshire. I began cross stitching 10 years ago as a mess free hobby to do around my 3 children but soon found its therapeutic qualities hugely beneficial to my mental wellbeing.
Now I cant stop!

Having always been a huge fan of cross stitch samplers but uninspired by endless floral and twee patterns I decided to combine the traditional craft with my love of pop culture to create these totally unique, modern and vibrant designs. My degree in Visual Art and Culture lent itself perfectly to this. With constant inspiration from music, tv and film I will continue to cloth stab my way through popular culture.
